Halloween in Deutschland

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I guess it doesn't take a lot here in Germany to justify an excuse so drink and dress up, probably why Halloween has become to popular in the last decade with the Germanmen here. ^^
I spent Halloween night itself in Holidaypark (2nd biggest amusement park in Germany, with a really creative name, that just happens to be right next to my village). Lots of little kids but really fun... My face scribbles where no match for the sweet as costume of this awesome guy though...

Saturday morning I took an ICE train up to Frankfurt and met up this Renée, who I haven't seen since she left from CHCH airport at 6 in the morning almost 2 years ago. It was really fun seeing her again and going shopping in the big city for the first time. Later she drove me 40 minures away to her lil village somewhere deep in the state of Hessen, went to her Fußball game, drank some Glühwein (yumm German boiling hot winter wine) and eventually went home, met her family and prepared our costumes for her friends' Halloween party in the countryside.
We had to hike down this hillside in complete darkness following the sound of music to find the place. Those guys must have worked hard setting the place up, it was a sweet location. Drank recently in Germany re-legalised Absinthe for the first time ^^ and I'd have to say I was the best looking pumpkin at the whole party.

Here are some more pictures I took while in the City.
